Things that should be obvious...

Blair: Nuking Iran Would Be Absurd

No shit. I mean, I'm glad the leader of a Nuclear Power felt that he needed to clear that up because, you know, I kinda thought it might have made sense...

Prime Minister Tony Blair says that any consideration of a nuclear attack against Iran would be "absolutely absurd," and said the issue had no bearing on his decision to demote his foreign secretary.

Jack Straw, the former foreign secretary, had described alleged U.S. contingency plans for a tactical nuclear strike against Iran as "completely nuts."
Which, of course, it is.

Whether or not Blair demoted Straw for something else or not, it certainly seems like Straw got the ax because Georgie 33 called up his favorite Englishman and demanded it.

That's what happens when you point out the obvious but inconvenient.
